Bill was a great neighbor for many years! May he fly high with the Angels and watch over Linda, Todd and Heidi as they will continue to need his guidance❤ I will always remember Bill as soft spoken and humble and kind to everyone who crossed his path. He will be missed for sure- Rest easy Bill❤

William E. Brown, 72 years old of Kinde, Michigan passed away February 16, 2026 with his family by his side. William was born on June 1st, 1953 to the late Owen and Beryl (Running) Brown, on May 5, 1973he married Linda Matelski, and together they shared 53 years of marriage.
William will be remembered by his family and friends by his enthusiastic way he lived his life. Everyone he met was his friend and he would do all he could to help.
William is survived by his children; Todd (Andrea Lundy) Brown, Heidi (Victor) Gomez, his sister Marie (Stan) Haley, sister’s-in-law Vicky Ritter and Cindy Scherret, brother-in-law Mike Shamka and many nieces and nephews along with his three legged friend Rooney.
William is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Mary Rose his nephew Shawn Haley, his sister Judy Shamka, mother and father -in-law Marlene and Leonard Matelski, brother’s in-law Randy Matelski and Mike Ritter.
Per William’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.
Memorials may be offered to the Covenant Health Care Foundation.
