Not sure what to say?

Theresa; I met you at Sr. Mary Catherine’s funeral in Milwaukee. I have been talking with a friend who once lived In Cincinnati and telling him about Fr. Lou and his brother AND the lovely companion of Bill’s. I’m sorry for your loss. Blessings for you!

The Florida Keys will not be the same without Bill Busemeyer, Esq. We have so many great memories with Billy and will be forever grateful that we had his friendship and love. You will always be remembered as a special person in our lives and you leave a big absence of laughs and joy that we will never forget.
We'll miss you terribly.
Capt. "Skip" & Lisa Bradeen

Thank you for so many amazing memories. You will be greatly missed. Islamorada will never be the same. God Speed!

Haley's comet will return long before we see another WAB. And sell any shares in Miller Lite as the stock must surely drop.

Billy B. , what a guy! Billy became one of my best friends ever, I suppose because we shared common interests (no details). He will be missed by many. RIP Billy B!

Oh Dear - What did Billy just say to my 16 year old daughter?

I will miss you my Dear Friend.

Obituary

William's Obituary

William Alan Busemeyer, aged 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. “Billy” as he was known, was a proud Cincinnatian born on March 27,1940. He was the son of Louis E. Busemeyer and Frances Ann (Swim) Busemeyer. He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, class of 1958 and received a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Notre Dame in 1962 where he was a member of the Varsity golf team. As a proud graduate, he was a life-long benefactor of both schools. After receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincnnati College of Law in 1965, he joined the law firm of Lindhorst & Dreidame for several years before venturing out and practicing in his own law firm.

Billy possessed both an outstanding business mind and an unmatched personality. Even into his later years, Billy was known for being a merry prankster of sorts and a harbinger of good times. He was admired and adored by colleagues, friends, and employees of the numerous bars and restaurants that he was known to frequent.

As a longtime member of Coldsteam Country club, he was known to be an excellent golfer. He also enjoyed relaxing and fishing at his vacation home in Islamorada, Florida. Billy enjoyed "betting the ponies" and watching many sporting events including the Cincinnati Reds and his beloved Fighting Irish of Notre Dame where he was a football season ticket holder for many years. Billy would attend most Notre Dame home football games with various groups that he would bring along for the legendary trips where a Miller Lite or 2 may have been imbibed.

He is survived by his loyal and longtime companion, Theresa Martin, affectionately known as "Midget" and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to list. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Frances Busemeyer and his brother Fr. Louis E. Busemeyer, S.J.

Visitation will be at Geo. H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home, 3183 Linwood Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45208 on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 4-8 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church, 2501 Riverside Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45202 on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 10 AM.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Theresa has asked that donations be made in Billy's honor at Parkinson Support and Wellness at Parkinsoncincinnati.org. Condolences to rohdefuneral.com.
