Jean, Carrie and Scotty, I'm sorry that I'm not able to be there in person to celebrate Bill's life with you. He was always a caring cousin and we shared that Clark blood so proudly! I'll be praying for each of you! Love always!

William S. “Bill” Clark, 68

of Vanderbilt (Dunbar Township) passed away at 8:30 AM Monday, November 10, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. Bill was born on May 24, 1957 in Connellsville, a son of the late William H. Clark, who passed away on October 9, 1993. Bill married Loretta J. (Miller) Clark on October 29, 1977 and she survives him.

 

Bill was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He graduated from Connellsville Area High School, Class of 1976 and was employed as a heavy construction worker with AC Moyer in Lemont Furnace. Bill enjoyed hunting and had a passion for farming.

 

Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 48 years, Loretta J. (Miller) Clark; his two children, Carrie Shultz and husband Kenneth Shultz Jr. of Bullskin Township and Scott Clark of Vanderbilt; his four grandchildren, Bisa Shultz (Jonathan Sickles), Kendra Hiles (Joe), Kenneth Shultz III, and Kayla Shultz; his sister-in-law, Deborah Dean; many loving nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Thurman Bowser. In addition to his Father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Willa Louise Bowser and her husband John; his brother, Charles Clark and his wife Patricia; his Father and Mother-in-law, Richard “Dick” and Martha “Tip” (McKnight) Miller; his brothers-in-law, Thomas Miller and Joseph Dean; and his sister-in-law, Pamela Guynn and her husband John; and his loyal dog, Demon.

 

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 4-8 PM Thursday and 10-11 AM Friday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday with Pastor Brian Swan officiating. Chapel committal service and interment will be in Green Ridge Memorial Park followed by a fellowship meal at the Trotter American Legion Post #762. Memorial donations can be made to the Legion’s Fund for Veterans. The Ralph Galley Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Clark Family. Love Lasts Forever!
