I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I often think of playing football with Billy on Sheffield and the early morning carpools to Belmont Hill. Billy was a special person and will be in our prayers going forward.

Bill, I am sorry to hear of your son's passing. It is not easy to lose a son and I will keep you and your wife in my prayers... My deepest condolences to you and your wife.

The only time I knew Billy was when he was three. He mimicked my friend acting out "Earthquake" in charades. That memory still makes me laugh. That little guy had a lot of impact!

After selling the Cunningham house in Winchester he would call me regularly to help his friends find homes or just check on me. He was a sweet and caring genuine man with a wonderful future ahead. William's Obituary

Newbury, NH-William J. Cunningham III, 41, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2015 at his home on Stoney Brook Road after a long illness. He was born in Boston, MA on June 10, 1974. He spent his early years in Winchester, MA while spending summers in the Sunapee Area and moving here 10 years ago. Billy graduated from Belmont Hill School in 1993. He earned a BA degree from Skidmore College in 1997 and received his MBA from William and Mary Business School in 2004. Over the years he has worked in marketing for several different companies.He is a former member of the Lake Sunapee Yacht Club. Billy was kind, sensitive and loving.He is survived by his parents, William and Adele "DeeDee" (Pardee) Cunningham, Jr. of New London, NH and Vero Beach, FL; a sister and her husband, Margaret and Ted Lyon of Winchester, MA and New London, NH; three nephews, James, Andrew and William; aunts, uncles and cousins.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 724 Main Street, New London, NH. Burial for immediate family will follow in West Part Cemetery, New London. Everyone is invited to join the family at the Lake Sunapee Yacht Club following the Mass.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
