Not sure what to say?

Bill was a good man and a good friend. He was a fine lawyer - smart, insightful, and wise. His goodness and kindness were evident in all his interactions with others. He could be cynical or critical when circumstances warranted it; but mostly he was full of good humor and friendship. It was a pleasure to have worked with him. God be with you, Bill, until we meet again.

For a long time, Mr. and Mrs. D were like parents to me. Open-hearted, loving, caring role models - always in my heart. Rest well, Mr. D. See you on the other side. ❤✝

Our hearts broke when we heard the news of your passing. We are comforted though knowing that Beth was there to greet you and embrace you again at last! We pray for you, Beth, and your entire family We pray for those left behind to navigate through this life until we meet again. You were a remarkable man of faith, husband, father and friend. Sending love and prayers from Georgia.

It is a rare privilege to have your first boss become such a special friend. Bill taught me so much, not only about the law and the company where we worked but about how to laugh long, hard and often; about how to place family first; about how to exude true spirituality; about how to take some pretty hard blows in life and keep on laughing and plugging way when it seems impossible to do so. Lunch companion, mentor, and friend. The loss is real, but the memories are special. I can still hear...

You meant so much to so many you will be missed.

Our condolences and prayers go out to the Dobberpuhl family.

Bill was a true friend and had such a kind heart. I will miss our time playing music together. Thanks be to GOD for bringing us together.

Dobber and I spent the small part of an hour together in his office nearly every afternoon for 18 years. A deep friendship emerged that continued until the day he died. I wish I could make you feel what it was like for me to be Bill Dobberpuhl’s friend. I can’t find the words.

There is a wonderful movie called “Dean Spanley” that describes the friendship between two dogs who go on thrilling dog adventures together like catching rabbits and chasing sheep. There is a scene...

My sincerest condolences to Connie, Matt and the whole family. Dobber was my good friend for many years at SCE. We lunched together almost daily. He was smart, funny, cynical and thoughtful. He was interested in a wide variety of things. The Three Stooges? Really? He was devoted to his family and so proud and protective of his wife, kids and grandkids. I was blessed to have known him and will always remember him fondly.
