William's Obituary

William Leon Goldsberry, “Bucky”, 48, of Perryton, Texas passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Perryton.  Viewing will be Monday, March 9, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  His funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, Texas, officiated by Rev. Duce Cooper.  Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Texas.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Bucky was born on June 17, 1977 in Perryton, Texas to Bill Goldsberry and Cynthia “Peaches” Reynolds Goldsberry.  He married his wife, Diane Bryan, in Perryton, Texas on July 13, 2002.  Bucky served his community as the Justice of the Peace for many years; he also served his community as a peace officer, and he will truly be missed by those he served.  He was a member of Key Heights Baptist Church, and he served his church well.  Bucky loved to hunt, fish and camp, and most of all he loved his family and friends.

Bucky is survived by his wife, Diane Bryan Goldsberry, of Perryton, Texas; one son, Dayton Goldsberry, and one daughter, Alexis Goldsberry, both of Perryton; his parents, Bill and Peaches Goldsberry of Perryton; his grandmother, Petie Reynolds of Pharr, Texas; his aunt Vikki Rosser of Perryton; his aunt and uncle Renee and Terry Dorman of Perryton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Bucky was preceded in death by his grandfathers Leon Reynolds and Bill Goldsberry.

The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
