Christmas Concert Cynthia, Billy, & Kathy

A few years ago Billy invited us to attend the Owensboro Choral Society’s presentation of the ‘Messiah’. When we picked him up he surprised us with these wonderful hats. Billy said every well dressed woman should wear a hat and gloves. (He gave us some great gloves also). Today we surprised Billy at his final farewell by wearing our hats. I hope we made him proud He always ended our conversations with ‘one last thing, I love you!’ We love you too Billy.. Cynthia Farris & Kathy Turpin

Knew bill when we were teenagers at church together. Always an interesting person, loved his Perry Mason book. My condolences to the family.

Bill was a precious soul. Loved by so many. He will not be forgotten.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

New Billy very well my older sister used to babysit. Billy his brother when they were real young and sometimes I would go with her and as he got older, it didn’t matter where I was or where my sister was and we ran into Billy. He always remembered who we were and he would talk and he always tell us he’s doing fine and he was really sweet gentle person. You will truly be missed. Happy Heavenly Travels

Billy was an inspiration to all who knew him! I always enjoyed reminiscing with Billy about our shared childhood memories, growing up on North Main Street. Bless his sweet, kind soul!

Bill was a good family friend. It was Bill that I can credit as one of my biggest influences when it came to old comics. It was because of him that I learned about the Pulps from the 1930s, and he helped me with my writing skills. Bill was a great guy, and he will surely be missed.
