Not sure what to say?

Sending our Condolences to Sister Sharon and Tamela. May our prayers and God's love hold you during this difficult time. Brother will surely be missed at Zion.
Brother Bill is a very special person. Zion UCC church family.

Bill Luce was such a great teacher to Devan and I. We both loved having him as a teacher and interacting with him at quiz bowl tournaments. He was so patient as we learned to write reseach papers, helping us develop those skills. He was always such a bright, happy, engaging person. His smile would light up the room. I will always have such fond memories of him. From the stories he would tell in class to the research trip to Gates BBQ. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will...

EXCELLENT coach, EXCELLENT teacher, EXCELLENT person. Thanks for making school fun. Coach you will be missed

Mr. Luce (always Mr. Luce for me) was the best teacher I've ever had and an even better coach and person. I learned from him the importance of discipline, consistency, and fair competition. He showed me that no matter where we come from, we can succeed by combining whatever talents we have with dedication to a goal.

He sparked a lifelong curiosity about the world and why it works the way it does. Mr. Luce inspired generations of SHS students to think expansively about their place...

Condolences to the Luce Family. RIP Bill.

So sorry to hear about Bill's passing. He was one of my teachers at Savannah High School from 1979-1982 and was my favorite teacher . He made learning fun and interesting and I always looked forward to his class and from reading his obituary I was not the only one that felt that way. Rest in peace Bill!

William, (Bill) was a servant, not only as an outstanding history instructor, but teaching dog lovers how to share that love with others. Bill was a champion for dogs who have been abandoned and encourage those he knew to adopt animals that needed a good home. Bill generated kindness to everyone that he met and was non judgmental. He and Sharon followed the Golden Rule to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing the two of them as a friend, an instructor, and game player. Bill and Sharon...

I met Bill through his involvement with pet therapy. He and Sharon were and are an inspiration to me. I experienced in Bill a gentle strength that was grounded in empathy, a commitment to excellence and the willingness to walk side-by-side through the pet therapy training process. Bill loved the dogs and he valued the friendships and community that developed. I valued Bill's friendship and will miss him. My hope is that Bill is now surrounded by an eternal love!

Sharon and Tammy, so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Jon and I have so many fond memories of the time we spent with the three of you.
