Not sure what to say?

Annaliese, I just now learned of Bill´s death and wanted to express to you my deepest heartfelt condolences. So sorry I never called either of you after Bill contacted me on Facebook. Prayers of comfort, strength, and peace for you and the rest of your family.

Commander Bill Moody was my shipmate and superior officer. He was the classic NAVY INTELL Officer you see in the movies. Superior intelligence, quick and cool wit, sublime humor and deep loyalty to the service with a unique and intense personality. I am honored to have served with him. His dedication and personal leadership left a deep impression on me that will never be forgotten. Fair Winds and Following Seas. V/R, Jim

Bill was a trusted and valued friend, sponsor, and colleague of mine. I will miss him greatly. He had a brilliant mind, and was a leader of men; not to mention an outstanding geologist/ businessman. I loved to hear his inspirational stories which he was rife to tell. Truly one of a kind and loved by many.

Rest In Peace my friend.

Kirk Clem

He was never at a loss for words. I have often missed his wit and wisdom since we retired from the Navy Reserve drilling in Belle Chasse. My condolences to his family. His was a life well lived.

Bill was a scholar, honorable veteran, gentleman and a great co worker. I will always relish his quick wit, stories and photographic memory - he could recall lines from every movie he had seen. We had many fun times and I will always cherish the trips with Bill and Annaliese to Alaska and Las Vegas in particular. Sympathies to Annaliese, Billy and Lisa.

Group of 10 Trees

I worked for and with Bill as a geologist for over 10 years. He took great pride in his profession, as he did with his family, freinds and military service. I also spent a lot of time with him outside of the work environment, especially enjoying the time we spent together playing golf. Watching the Portly Veteran, as he refereed to himself, hit his Power Pod driver was a sight you could never forget.

Annaliese, Lisa Ann and Billy, May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. So sorry we can’t be there to celebrate Bill’s life with you but know we will be by your side in our thoughts and prayers.

Bill was a great shipmate! Quick wit and great story teller Always fun to have on the team
