William's Obituaries

William “Top Cat” Muse, Jr., age 92, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, December 13, 2018.  He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Williams was a retired cement worker and laborer.  He served his country as a member of the United States Army.  Devoted companion of Velma Connor.  Loving father of Sharon Francis, Russell (Myrna), Ronald, Tyrone (Michelle), Kenneth, and Erroll (Diane) Muse, Dora Mims, Evie Jackson, Alice Jones, William Connor, and the late Donna Lynn, Laura Jean, and William Muse III, Willie Connor, Donna Anderson, and Elaine Belton.  Son of the late William Muse, Sr. and Annie Mae Muse.  Brother of Thomas Muse, Sister Michael Mar of Milwaukee, WI, and the late Harriett Smith and Mildred Muse.  Former husband of Olivia Muse. Father-in-law of the late LS Belton, Sullivan Francis, Sonya and Jackie Muse; also survived by 49 grandchildren, 101 great grandchildren, and a host of great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors officers and members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 1249 Leboeuf St., New Orleans, LA on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Dudley Watson, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
