William F. Noblejas, 74, Scranton, died Thursday at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.Born in Brookyln, N.Y., the son of the late Herman and Florence Hall Bacer, he worked in carpet cleaning and as a car service driver, but his favorite job was working the fishing boat concession. He loved to fish and always believed that any day fishing was a good day. He enjoyed the beach and was an avid movie fan. He loved people and loved spending time with his grandchildren.Surviving are a son, Michael and wife, Annissa, San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Elizabeth Hasenpusch and husband, Werner, Howell, N.J.; and Margaret Alexovitz, Saylorsburg; four grandchildren, Caden, Nathan, Elijah and Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Patrick and Phillip Noblejas.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 to 6 at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
