Not sure what to say?

Remembering Bill this Thanksgiving and making creamed onions! ♥

Bill Pickard was one of my best friends. We were childhood buddies growing up in Media, PA. I still have fond memories of sleep overs, playing in the woods and joining the Boy Scouts. When I was 12 my family moved and always felt I lost a friend. Discovering that Bill had died so young I felt like I lost a friend again.

Best Regards,
Andrew Skillman

Summer Ft. McNair '92

LT. Pickard was my LT. at Ft. McNair A Co. COMMANDER AND CHIEFS GUARD...He always treated me with respect and for that I salute you Sir...You are a great man and I will always remember you. You will be missed...I'm sorry this is so late..I just found out about it this morning... adding a picture with POTUS...RIP Sir...

Bill was just a ball of great, enthusiastic, friendly energy. I had the opportunity to play a season of church softball with him and a few years or working together on Rebuilding Together Howard County projects. I'll never forget the time he was on the ladder, half way dangling, with a chainsaw in his hand!
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Amen.

Dear Anna and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you in your time of grief. I remember your dad fondly from NSJ. I am thinking of you.

Love,
Mrs. Jennifer Goodwin

It is shocking news to learn of Bill's death. I am so sorry for the loss of his life. Bill was an amazing friend as a child and young adult, and always so uplifting and encouraging when we would catch up. I will be praying for Nancy and Bill's brother and sisters and of course his children. There are few high school friends that I can say made a positive impact on my personal life and Bill was one of them. I share in your grief and again pray for inner peace and remembrance.

I was shocked and saddened for all of you to hear the news when they informed us at Booz Allen. I worked for Bill for several years and will always remember him. At team meetings, he often spoke fondly about the kids and Nancy. Praying for healing for the Pickard family, and for all who lost a friend and colleague.

Nancy, we are heartbroken over your families' loss. We pray that you find comfort in fond memories of Bill. I will always remember Bill at Judy's having a warm friendly way about him. Our prayers are with you and your children.

Nancy, we are thinking and praying for you and your family. Bill will be greatly missed.
