Though I have slipped into the shadows over the years, my mind would inevitably return to thoughts of you and Bill, wondering how you both were and how your health was holding up. A little something must have whispered in my ear, as I hopped online and just learned of Bill's passing. My heart aches for you, but I consider myself blessed in having known him for the bit of time that I did. (I am still honored that you asked me to sing at your wedding all those years ago.)

I am so very sorry to hear about Bill. You are in my thoughts. I am so glad I got to see you guys the last time I visited Raker. I have many fond memories of Bill. He will be missed!

I am saddened to hear this news. On behalf of Good Shepherd and myself, our deepest condolences.

One of my first donor meetings for Good Shepherd was with Linda and Bill. They both made me feel like a longtime friend. I left that meeting motivated with the belief that I must do the best I could in my new position. Bill's kindness, humor, and warmth made such a lasting impression on me. His presence will surely be missed.

My husband and I visited Bill several times when he was at Good Shepherd. My John and Bill both served their country in the Air Force, and they both served in England. Memories and experience of their youth in the Air Force were shared. We had no idea that he was an artist! Linda, I'm sure you have some of his creations adorning your walls at home. As you said, Linda, he is now free of his earthly bonds. Hallelujah!
