Our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. Bill was a wonderful man and “Daddio”, as Julie would fondly call him sometimes. I was always impressed by his kindness, interest in learning and zest for living life fully. We wish you peace, comfort, smiles and many good memories and love to hold in your hearts.

I was a long time customer of Ritz Cameras. Bill was always there with a smile, for everyone that came through the door. I looked forward to sharing stories of the photos that I picked up. My prayers are with the entire Ariens family.

I am Kathryn the daughter of William's cousin Barbara O'Dowd Hadaller. Although I have not met William or I was too young to remember, I do have memories of stories my mother has told me over the years. Condolences to all the family. May you rest in peace with the Lord Jesus.

To Scott and Family: I had the privilege of knowing your dad for over 50 years. As a young, dopey kid ( me, not him), he was always respectful of us and interested in what we had to say on various topics of the day. I truly think I learned more from him than any college professor I ever had. As I grew into adolescence and adulthood, I was lucky enough to meet up with him often (mostly at Sendik's as we always seemed to shop at the same time) and we would pick up on a new conversation,...
