Not sure what to say?

I remember Bill fondly as a friend of my parents Ray and Evelyn Scully from the Eastern Point firehouse gatherings. He certainly lived a long and exciting life. My condolences to the family.

I didn't know Mr. SCARANO SR. However I have known his son William Jr. for over 20 years. I have heard many stories about Sr. from his son, reading the obituary, it sounded like he was a great man and lived a great life. Rest in peace. My condolences to his family and everyone that loved him. Mark W. O'Neal

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the entire Scarano family. Bill was a very kind, loving and knowledgeable man. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He made us feel like part of the family every time we saw him. We will miss seeing his smiling face. God bless him and may he rest in peace following his long and well lived life. With our deepest sympathy. Gail and Steve

RIP you were special

I am so sorry to hear of Bill´s passing. It made me very sad when I thought back to the times I shared with the family. Sending my condolences to all.

My condolences to Anne and family. I first met Bill as a pistol shooter and later at DeNoia's dock and SYC. We enjoyed common interests and life. His life was devoted to the fire department and I thank him for that. Rest in peace after a long life. Larry Bentley

My Sincerest Condolences to the Scarano and Shinn Families. I had the please of meeting Mr Bill many times through various events that my Dad Jimmy Volpe held throughout the years when he was here in CT during the summer months visiting from Mississippi. Mr Bill would tell the most amazing stories that kept you seated and laughing. He is truly a local legend and will be missed.

I'm sorry for your loss.
