All, so very sorry to hear of Willies passing. We went to Floyds together 1st through 6th grade. Then just recently texted him on Facebook and I am so glad I did. Seems he had a good life. Redt in Peace

Willie, was one of a kind, a man of many talents, and a loyal customer. Most importantly he was a true friend and I shall miss him. When Willie walked in to our office, I knew that I was in for a treat and a good story .

Mr. Willie L. Guyton, 66, husband of Donna Hayes Guyton, of Mullins, passed away following a brief illness, on Monday, August 25, 2025, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.
Willie was born on December 11, 1958, in Conway, South Carolina, a son of the late Willie Julius Guyton and the late Addie Rebecca Miller Guyton. Mr. Guyton was a supervisor with Fitts & Goodwin, Inc., overseeing day-to-day operations with the general contracting firm. In his downtime, Mr. Guyton loved to spend time with his grandchildren, playing with them and supporting them in all sorts of activities. Willie also loved being outdoors. He always took the opportunity to go hunting or fishing. He loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all.
Mr. Guyton is survived by his wife of the home, Donna Hayes Guyton of Mullins; his daughters: Kara Jones (Freddie) Brock of Mullins and Heather Jones (Nick) Alexander of Little River; his grandchildren: Brandon (Brittani) Alford, Ethan (Hanna) Alford, Kolby Alford, Kensley Alford, Payton Hufford, Collin Hufford, and Sydney Hufford; his great grandchildren: Kylan Smith, Brentley Alford, Konnor Alford, Gracelyn Alford, and Dawson Alford; his sisters: Irene Guyton Brewer and Faye Guyton (Danny) Roberts; his nephews: Lee (Sherry) Brewer and William (Heather) Roberts; and his great nephews: Zane Butler, Johnathan (Niyah) Brewer, Chandler Brewer, Seth Hardee, Hayden Roberts and Julius Roberts.
Willie was predeceased by a grandchild, Carsan Hufford, a brother-in-law, Jerry Brewer, nephew, Ray Brewer, great nephew, Christopher Brewer, and a great niece, Rachel Brewer.
The Guyton Family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, August 28, from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
Mr. Guyton’s service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel, with Reverend Paul Newton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Marion County Animal Shelter, 123 Dog and Cat Ct, Mullins, SC 29574.
