Not sure what to say?

My condolences go out to his loved ones. I knew Willie Ray growing up and we shared a few fifths and plenty of laughs. If he was your friend, he would be there to the end. He was who he was and he didn't try to be more to impress anyone. One of the few I can say that would stand up for his friends and loved ones in a heartbeat. You will be missed my friend.
Rest easy Willie Ray aka "Huck"

I never truly knew Willie Ray. He and my mom divorced when I was an infant. I recall the last time I met with him—I was almost an adult, only 17, and found him to have a grumpy disposition and an odd affinity for gospel music. What a crazy almost laughable combination. But according to my mom he was a great football player in high school and was a very attractive young man. Hopefully those traits will secure his passage through those pearly gates. In addition , he had a granddaughter through...

Who could ever forget Willie Ray. Became friends with him in the early 70's and though I lost touch he was always in my heart. One hell of a man, and not one to be trifled with. He wanted me to be an engineer on the railroads because he knew I had the smarts to do whatever I set out to. Wish that I could have seen him again before he passed, but his spirit lives on in my heart and mind.

Prayers for the family during this sad time.

Our hearts and prayers are with you all as you navigate this sad time in your lives. Willie Ray was a dear classmate and fellow graduate of ours and was a larger than life person for sure. May God comfort you throughout this journey.
