Not sure what to say?

A loving cousin. I Loved her smile and she was always giving hugs. One can never receive too many hugs. (IMHO) Love and prayers of comfort to her immediate family and close friends. Heaven gained another angel whom we can look forward to seeing again when our life has run it's course.

She also was a dear cousin and Avon lady for years. Always had a hug and a smile for everyone! Hugs and prayers for comfort to her family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. God Bless you all.

Sincere condolences to the whole family

Wilma's Obituary

Wilma M. Severcool, 81, of Montrose, PA passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 after an extended illness with her loving husband by her side.  She was born on October 2, 1940 in Sayre, PA.

Wilma is survived by her husband of 63 years, Myron F. Severcool; 3 daughters, Penny (Doug) Duffield of Wyalusing, PA, Cathy (Errick) Noldy of Meshoppen, PA, and Amy (David) Robinson of Montrose, PA; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Ann Webster; brother George (Aline) Snell; 2 sisters, Gwen Warner and Gloria (Ed) Mosier; brother Thomas (Julie) Hitchcock and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her son Daniel William Severcool; brother, Wilbert Hitchcock; brother, Kenny Hitchcock; Iva Hitchcock and her beloved father Laverne Hitchcock.

Wilma worked in the garment industry for 22 years and delivered mail as a substitute carrier for her father.  She loved to do crafts and sewing with her sister, Mary Ann, even making blankets for her family.  She was a Sunday school teacher and helped manage girls’ softball teams.

Wilma and Myron enjoyed camping when their children were young, going to square dances, riding snow mobiles and listening to country music.  She liked staying connected to her family and friends via Facebook and using her computer to make Christmas cards and graduation announcements.  Wilma loved Christmas and was sure to make every Christmas extra special for her family.  Most of all she loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She will be missed dearly by all of her family but lasting memories will always remain with us.
