YanQin “Lily” Lin, 54, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on October 10, 2025. Born in China, YanQin immigrated to the United States in 1997, where she worked diligently to build a life centered on family.She started out with nothing, and through her tenacity, perseverance, and discipline, she was able to reunite her entire family from China, build a successful career as a restaurant owner, and purchase her own homes.Even with limited English, she passed the naturalization exam and proudly became a U.S. citizen. Her heart was fullest when she watched her two sons flourish in health and happiness. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, such as gardening, and was especially proud of the pineapples she grew. She will be remembered for her strength, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. YanQin is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Guo Lin; two cherished sons, Jing (Tahynis) Lin and Makou Lin; her sister, YiMi Lin; her brothers, XiuQin Lin and Jin Cai Lin; and her father, QiQiu Lin.
