Not sure what to say?

was a very nice lady sorry for your loss

It’s her smile and laugh and “oh honey, you shouldn’t say that” that keeps bouncing in my memories of Aunt Yola! When I was born, she was 17. Perhaps because she never had children, she seems to have interacted on a deeper level with her nieces and nephews. Always a good listener followed by good questions!

Vivid memories remain when as a young kid visiting my grandparents, she would have me walk with her on Saginaw Street partway to her job at the doctor’s office near the Romito...

Yola was the epitome of what it meant to be a
beautiful, extremely strong, intelligent woman. I was a friend and worked with Yola over 70 years ago but she is a woman who could never be forgotten. May she be in heaven with those she loved who went before her. God bless Yola!!❤

My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time my prayers are with you also I told Jim Criag about this also as I don't know if he already knew or not as this is Paula Dolehanty Stella Moody was my Grandma as my mom's Mom was Stella as I txt you this as I know it's been along time since we saw each other also as soon as I saw this I had to contact you my heart is broken to know this also Glad I saw the obituary also as when we all use to be at Asbury United Methodist Church as in where ...

I am the son of Dr. Jackson Livesay, Yola's long time employer. I, also, became a radiologist. I spent many times in the Mott Building office where I learned a lot about developing X-rays from Yola. She was highly regarded as an x-ray technician and as office manager by the partners. She was also a good friend. I am so sorry to learn of her passing.

Yola was a dear sweet friend of mine. I will never forget when I first met her and Cliff. They were such a sweet couple. I remember when Cliff passed, she was lost! She didn’t want to come to church but I promised her I’d sit with her if she did. She then saved me a seat every time. She was an amazing lady and will be missed!!

She was one of my favorite .characters at North Baptist Church; my wife and I loved sitting in the pew with her. She was class personified and the sister of the late Alice German. Yolanda was always impeccably dressed. She reached her milestone age and Hans entered Heaven’s portal. ❤
