Not sure what to say?

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

To the family, may you be comforted with fond memories and much love during your time of grief. I will remember Yolanda as a very happy and friendly person who always had a smile to share.

One of the best hardest worker that I was privileged to know and work with may you rest in peace

YOLANDA's Obituary

In Loving Memory of Yolanda Villareal

Sunrise: July 5, 1956 — Sunset: June 29, 2025

68 Years Old

Yolanda was called home by our Heavenly Father on June 29, 2025. A devoted Catholic, she lived her life in faith, love, and service. Born and raised in Douglas, Arizona, she was the beloved daughter of the late Angie Portillo and Elias Villareal. Yolanda was a graduate of Douglas High School. Yolanda went on to dedicate 42 years of her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her passion for helping the elderly was evident in her every action, and she continued this calling until her retirement in 2018.

Yolanda was well-known for her strong work ethic, radiant smile, and joyful personality. She embraced life fully, finding joy in collecting dolls, but above all, she cherished her family more than anything else.

She is survived by her  husband of 33 years, Refugio “Cuco” Gamez; her children Francisco Felix, Angela Partridge, and Christopher Felix; her grandchildren Bubba, Ricky, Maddy, and Mijo; her great-granddaughter Katie; and her dear siblings Maria Alvarez and Paul Villareal.

Services to celebrate Yolanda’s life will be held at Brown Page Mortuary in Douglas, Arizona. A viewing will take place on Monday, July 14th, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, July 15th, there will be another viewing from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Yolanda will then be transported to St. Luke’s Catholic Church for Mass at 11:00 a.m.

Yolanda’s legacy of love, faith, and service lives on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.

May she rest in eternal peace.
