Obituary

Yursa's Obituary

Yursa Igram, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday October 11, 2016 at Heritage Specialty Care in Cedar Rapids following a short illness. Burial was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Muslim National Cemetery. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre Cedar Rapids is serving the family.

Yursa was born August 8, 1933, in  Karoun, Lebanon the daughter of Kassem El-Sayed and Ratibah Akra.  She was united in marriage to Khalil (Charles) Igram on October 25th, 1954.

Yursa was a religious and righteous woman who loved to recite the Qur’an. She also loved knitting, photography and cooking meals for her family.

Survivors include her 3 daughters and 3 sons.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years.
