Yvonne M. Rahija

I loved Yvonne so much. She was truly a blessing to my mother. They would sit and have coffee and hand sew us girls little shorts and tops. I remember them laughing at my mom forgetting her beans and burning them and Yvonne having her eggs blow up. They laughed for decades about that. I will remember Yvonne with great love and blessed to have known such a fine lady.

I will always remember Aunt Yvonne as a beautiful and classy lady. I don't know why, but I always thought her as regal, yet very down to earth at the same time. Fond memories of her and uncle Jack. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Her picture says it all. She was always bubbly inside and excited to see us when we would visit. She was always my favorite Canadian. I have great memories of the parties the family had out at Wyandotte County Lake with Uncle Jack and her. Her kind spirit and witty sense of humor delighted us all! It always hurts to lose your parents. But it is also great to gain a guardian angel on your side. God bless you Cathy Ann, Jake and Ronnie!

Jake, Kathy Ann, Ron - many thoughts and prayers for you all. I will always remember Aunt Yvonne’s big smile and ever cheerful spirit . So many great memories - she always offered to cook a meal or a “pop” when I visited . I will always treasure memories when Mom and Dad took us for family visits during the holidays she was always so very happy and looked for and found the best in everything and everybody . Eternal rest grant to Aunt Yvonne O Lord, and my perpetual light shine upon her.
