Zachary Alan Withers returned home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 31, 2025. Born on February 13, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Zachary lived a life defined by deep devotion to his family, a passion for the outdoors, and an unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.
Family was Zach’s greatest joy and his truest purpose. He was the loving and devoted husband of Kira Withers, and the exceptionally proud father of Kaprie Kassia (8) and Oaklyn Finley (6). The love he poured into his girls was immeasurable and they were the light of his world. His happiest moments were spent being with his three girls, whether camping beneath starlit skies, teaching his daughters to bait a hook, cheering them on at gymnastics, or simply spending a quiet evening at home filled with laughter and love.
Zach and Kira were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 13th, 2014, building a life in shared faith, friendship, and a love for life’s beautiful moments. Together, they built a home where warmth, humor, and adventure were constants, a place where faith guided their hearts and family came first.
A true outdoorsman, Zach found both peace and purpose beneath open skies. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who treated the land he loved with deep respect, often sharing those moments with his father, Alan, and his brother, Colton. He found joy in rising before dawn to watch the world wake, in the soothing quiet of the water, and in the warmth of a fire surrounded by family and friends beneath a blanket of stars. The mountains were his sanctuary, a place where his spirit felt most alive, and he carried that wonder into every corner of his life.
Standing tall both in stature and in spirit, Zach was affectionately known as a gentle giant. His presence filled a room, yet it was his gentleness, patience, and easy smile that left the greatest impression. Beneath his broad shoulders and capable hands was a heart of rare kindness that was steady, humble, and endlessly generous. He had a way of making everyone feel safe, seen, and valued.
Professionally, Zach was as skilled as he was dedicated. As the Maintenance Manager for ID Logistics, he was known for his expertise with all things mechanical. There was no engine he couldn’t understand, no problem too complex for his hands and mind to solve. But what truly defined him wasn’t just his craftsmanship, it was his character. If a car broke down, if a project needed extra hands, or if someone was in trouble, Zach was there, tools in hand, calm as ever, his laughter ready to fix not just the problem but often the mood as well.
Zach’s ability to make friends anywhere he went was legendary. He carried the kind of charm that made strangers feel like old friends. His laughter could fill a room, his stories could light up a campfire, and his loyalty was the kind you could build a life around.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Zach lived his faith through service, humility, and love. His actions spoke louder than words and were constantly demonstrated in his compassion, his dedication to family, and the strength with which he faced life’s challenges.
Zach was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Jim and Marilee Withers and Jack and Donna Phillips, and his cousin, Cory Alldredge, whose love and influence shaped him. He is survived by his wife Kira, his daughters Kaprie and Oaklyn, his parents Alan and Charlyne Withers, his sisters Brittany Casorla (Brandon) and Heather Madsen (Chris), and his brother Colton Withers (Andie), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who loved him dearly.
His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Zach was a protector, a provider, and a steadfast friend. His legacy of hard work, kindness, humor, and unwavering love will live on through those he cherished most.
Zach’s family finds peace knowing that he has been reunited with his grandparents, and that his spirit continues to watch over his three girls, guiding them as faithfully as he did in life.
Until we see you again, Zach. May your line stay tight, your tools stay close, and your laughter forever echo through the mountains you loved.
