Zayan Villarreal Ortiz, 26, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Zayan was born on June 15, 1999, and raised in Midland, Texas. Throughout his life, Zayan was known for his determination and dedication. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he collected numerous awards, moved up in rank, and later went on to earn his CDL license.
Zayan will always be remembered for his outgoing sense of humor, the love and light he brought into everyone’s life, and his contagious smile. He found joy in spending time with family and friends, playing guitar and singing, fixing up cars, going to the shooting range with his dad, and working hard to achieve his goals. Zayan’s unconditional love will remain in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his Wife; Valerie Ortiz, son, Anteros Ortiz; his father, Joel Ortiz; his mother, Amparo Villarreal; and his two sisters, Jemaruby Ortiz and Roselyn Madrid. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Oscar Ortiz and Alfredo Villarreal.
Service information for Zayan Villarreal Ortiz is as follows:Viewing will be on Monday, November 10th from 12pm-9pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home.Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, November 11th at 10:00am at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Chapel followed by burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will include Joel Ortiz, (Fabian Lara), Roshad Allen Monroe, Eleazar Gonzalez, Anthony “Tony” Anguiano, Daniel Villarreal, Joel Brito, Joe Daniel Lujan, and Edgar Brito.
