Sending Love and Prayers for this wonderful family that I've known for many years. Ms. Zema Dell was a loving and caring lady and very well respected. Her Family Loved and Took Care of Her up until The Lord came and received Her. I Love this Family and She beat us there but we will meet again. Love You All.

Zema's Obituary

Mrs. Zema Dell Hunt, age 98, of the Hilly Branch Community, walked into the arms of Jesus and entered into her eternal rest on September 29, 2025. 

She was a faithful member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church, where she attended her entire life. She was a fun and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ang and Effie Hunt, her husband Thadis “Pete” Hunt, brothers Welford “Buck” & Telford Hunt, best friend and sister Gretchen Blue, and granddaughter Veronica Hunt. 

She leaves to cherish her memories her four children: Corales Clapp (Cavin), Gregory Hunt, Gina Hunt, and Valerie Swett; ten grandchildren: Shona, Mikie, Skyler, Ryan, Kristin, Justin, Marlana, Emily, Lauren, & Marissa; fourteen great-grandchildren: Nakota, Jaron, Jaxon, Makena, Landon, Sukota, Sukyiah, Anderson, Mackenzie, Weston, Oakley, Sawyer, Ella, & Bryce; very special in-laws: Dinky & Ronnie, and a host of relatives & friends. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 2:00-3:00PM at Reedy Branch Baptist Church, 3047 McDonald Road, Fairmont. The funeral will immediately follow at 3:00PM in the church.

Burial will be in Reedy Branch Church Cemetery.
