During my first days as a Brother Knight Zenon mentored me and provided much support. Zenon always had a smile and was ready to pitch in at any event. Our Tonti council has not only loss a brother, but a great loving person.
May his soul and the souls of our brothers rest in peace forever and forever, amen.

Zenon T. Grodecki, age 82, of Chicago, Ill., loving husband of the late Constance, nee Mulzof; dear brother of the late Fred (Mary Allen) and Greg (Joan); kind uncle of Fr. Christopher, Michael, Charles, Ashley, Jonathan, and Scott.
Zen was born in Chicago, Ill., on November 26, 1942. A graduate of Lane Technical High School, Zen dedicated his life to his family, music, and his Catholic faith. In 1972, he married Connie, his wife of 52 years. Zen was also a member of the Chicago Federation of Musicians Local 10-208 and the German-American Musicians Club of Chicago. A decades-long parishioner of St. Constance Church (now part of Mary Undoer of Knots parish), Zen was a dedicated member of the parish's Holy Name Society and a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Special gratitude goes to Zen's friends and neighbors who over the past several years helped Zen and Connie with great generosity and care.
