Zofia's Obituary

Zofia Kulpa, age 89, beloved wife of the late Franciszek Kulpa; loving mother of Harriet (Victor) Jarosiewicz, Halina (Adam) Tyrawa , Maria (Wieslaw) Cius and Danuta (the late Adam) Mamcarz; cherished grandmother of Maggie “Madzia” (Jeff) Krynski, Daniel Tyrawa, Victor and Matthew Jarosiewicz, Robert, Dariusz, and Adrian Cius, Ewa (Janusz) Kuczek, Wojtek Mamcarz, and Dorotka (Grzegorz) Chojna; dearest great grandmother of Aiden and Mason, Madison, Kuba and Konrad, Eliza and Adelka, Karolina and Gosia; loving daughter of the late Maria and the late Stanislaw; and adoring sister to Kazimierz, the late Edward, the late Bronislaw and the late Marian.

Zofia will always be remembered for her faithfulness to God and her beautiful soul. She was quiet and peaceful, and a constant example of love and patience. She loved cooking, baking, building puzzles, spending time with her cat, and gardening. She enjoyed taking care of her vegetable and beautiful flower gardens, with her favorite flowers being roses.

Zofia’s greatest joy was spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When visiting her, the sweet smell of her delicious homemade apple pie filled her home and she always looked forward to visits from her loved ones. She was a light in this world and a constant calm presence for her family. Greatly loved by everyone who knew her and admired for her kindness, humility, devotion and unwavering faith. Zofia was a rock and support for others and always willing to help those in need. A testament to a beautiful life, she was filled with gratitude, which gave her a quiet dignity and strength. While she is greatly missed by many, we take comfort in knowing she now rests peacefully in the loving arms of God.

Visitation will be at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Avenue Niles on Saturday, August 30th from 9:00 AM until time of service 10:45 AM to St. Ladislaus Church for 11:30 AM Mass. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. For further information, (847) 966-7302 or www.skajafuneralhomes.com
