I am wondering if Connie Disy is the Connie I used to know. Been looking for her these last few years but didn't know the correct spelling of Disy until tonight when I talked to my mother. That is when I looked her up on google. If this is the Connie I knew I am deeply sadden. She and I were good friends until I went to Vienam . That is when we lost touch. Please let me know if this is the Connie from Caribou that I knew. My name is Skip Ettinger you can reach me at Cell: (253) 209-5287 or Email: [email protected]

Libby and Jenna--sorry I was not able to be at the funeral yesterday--I worked with your mom at CBHS in Bangor and she could not have been proud of you girls. She was so proud of Evan when he was born and I saw her at Walmart tin Bangor printing pictures the day that Claire was born. I knew she had been sick then and should have been home resting--but I also knew she needed to be with you more. I know you and your families will miss her as will many people who knew her.

Libby and Jenna,
How I wish I could have been there with you today! Your mom was a caring, compassionate woman who had a huge impact on so many people. She loved you both deeply and you brought great joy in her life when you blessed her with her precious grandchildren. She would light up at the mere mention of them. Cherish the memories.

Jenna and Libby and family,
Connie was there for me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She bought me Chicken Soup for the Breast Cancer Survivor Soul, which of course is filled with laughter and inspiration, just like she was. I am sorry I am out of state and will miss her service. But please know those that worked with her at CBHS will miss her dearly and think of her often.

When I worked with Connie, I always learned something new. She always had the right words to say and was a great mentor. I was thinking about her last night and laughed about all the fun we had. She was never without her Iced Tea from McDonalds! She will be greatly missed.

Libby and Jenna, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. Whenever I visited my aunt (which would be your Gigi) and she came to visit, I always enjoyed her company! Connie, you allowed me to look at myself and become the person YOU knew i could be. You and Jenna gave me the honor of being Evans "Grampy" and later on Jenna wanted me as her Grampy. Laura realized how much you meant to me and others and how much she became to know and love you too. Connie, you will be missed for sure. Libby, Jenna, Claire, and Evan, you will have your angel above watching over you. Laura and I love you all.
