Robert Byron Hendrickson

Robert B. Hendrickson, 77, of Vidor, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at his residence. A native of Beaumont, he has lived in Vidor for 5 years and was a truck driver. Robert was a member of Christ Community Church in Beaumont. Robert served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, July 6, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Essie Hendrickson; parents, Robert and Eugenia Hendrickson; brother, Roy Hendrickson; and his sister, Pearl Baker. He is survived by his daughter, Robin Ybarra of Vidor; step-daughter, Paula Stephenson of Vidor; step- son, Raymond Gollihare of Illinois; brother, Ray Hendrickson of Albuquerque, NM.; sister, Edith Jenkins of Marrero, LA.; four grand children, Chris Ybarra and Zachary Ybarra, both of Vidor, Billie St. Claire of Austin, and Colleen Prejean of Vidor; six great grandchildren; and his niece, Karen Eichler of Vidor.
