My condolences to the Proud family. Cliff touched many lives in the law enforcement community. I had the privilege of working with him in the 1980s. He was a true gentleman, mentor,friend and excellent legal mind.

I am so very sorry for the loss of a great American police officer, attorney and jurist. Cliff was wonderful role model and a great human being. He will be missed by more than you know.
