My husband and I went to college with Peggy and Page. I remember so clearly sitting around our dorm listening to Peggy tell us stories about her childhood! Amazing... We can only hope to do such a wonderful job raising our own children!

Our love and prayers go out to your entire family!

I am so very sorry for your loss. After reading about Elroy and your family, I see that Tom's fun personality, quick wit and strong values must have came from his parents. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Entire Rule family,
Deeply sorry for your loss. You always were one of the coolest families on the block! Both of your parents were excellent examples of what parenting ought to be. I know you will console yourselves with wonderful memories and lots of shared love.

Ann and family, so terribly sorry for your loss. I had the distinct privilege of spending the night at your home when we were in grade school @ St. Mary's and I will always treasure that memory. What a wonderful family and what a terrific legacy. Again, sorry for your loss but do rejoice in your father's memory.

Grandpa,
You made me understand what family really is all about, love. You constantly showed each and everyone of us how much you loved and cared about each of us. That is a lot of love that was spread considering how many opf us there are. I will miss your do anything attitude, your inability ever get old your optimism, and your jokes that always seemed like they would be dirty but never really were. Your legacy will continue through everyone you loved because we will never forget you. I am so lucky to have had you in my life for so long.

To all the Rule "kids," I was shocked and saddened to hear about your dad. No one is ever really prepared to lose a parent. As you grieve, I hope you will remember your dad's wonderful smile/laugh and cherish your memories of him. Please also remember that your former Belleville neighbor will be keeping all of you in her prayers.

To the Rule Family: Our deepest sympathies to everyone. Your dad was thoughtful, friendly and always ready with a kind word. He and Betty were especially kind to my aunt (and their neighbor) when my uncle died, and for that we are grateful.
