Ann and family, I'm truly sorry for your loss....while I only met Jerry once, at the Assumption class reunion at the Silver Reef a few years back, I had the pleasure of sitting with Jerry and Ann at dinner....Ann I am so sorry, but knowing he is with our Lord.....is a comfort. Take care, and may you rest in peace Jerry.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Losing a loved one is never easy, but our loving God promises to give the strength and courage you'll need to endure, and to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. (Isaiah 40:29, 41:10, 13) May loving memories also sustain your family during this difficult time. Ann Smith

Jerry was a friend, a mentor and a teacher.
He set an example that was hard to duplicate.
He helped and enabled me to learn what was important and necessary to be safe, effective and to make a difference in a world that was fraught with danger.
I owe him.

So saddened to hear of Chief Joubert's passing. He was an amazing, driven leader who made then-Fire District 13 the envy of other Whatcom County Districts. More important, Jerry was a friend and mentor to me. He gave me early career opportunities that helped me grow and succeed.
Jerry could be firm and outspoken, but he always had the best for his community and the fire service in mind. Rest in Peace, Chief, we'll cover it from here. Transmitting Box 5-5-5-5 in your honor.
