Nickolas A. Walther

1978-2012 BENNINGTON Nickolas A. Walther, 34, a resident of Branch Street in Bennington, and formerly of Rockaway, N.J., passed away Saturday September 22 2012 at his home.

Nickolas was born in Dover, N.J., on July 2, 1978 the son of Lewis and Darlene (Young) Walther. He was educated in Rockaway schools and attended Morris Hills High School. Nickolas worked in roofing and construction for many years. He was employed as an apprentice Technician for Gearhart Chevrolet in Denville, N.J., and was currently employed by Plasan in Bennington. Nickolas loved fishing and music, especially playing his guitar. He enjoyed working on cars, was a New York Yankee baseball fan and enjoyed following the New York Football Giants and the New York Jets. He enjoyed being with his family and cherished times spent with his daughter Isabelle.

Nickolas is survived by his parents Lewis and Darlene Walther of Rockaway, N.J., his daughter Isabelle Walther of Jefferson, N.J., his brothers Lewis Walther, IV and his wife Maryann of Dumont, N.J. and Darryl Walther and his wife Amy of Newton, N.J., his paternal grandfather Dr. Lewis Walther, his niece Carly and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

At the request of the family, funeral services will be private. There are no visiting hours.
