Robert Raney Obituary

Robert "Bob" Thomas Raney, age 76, of Benton,  was born in Benton, Arkansas on January 16, 1949, passed away in his home on Saturday, July 5, 2025. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 31 years, Audrey Faye Raney.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lorena Raney, and sisters, Delores Richards and Barbara Leech.
He is survived by his brother, Ralph Raney (Wilma); nephew, Randy Richards (Rhonda); niece, Deb Hawkins (Doug); Michael Richards (Susan); one stepson, Matthew Wells (Lisa); and two grandchildren, Ryan and Reese Wells.
Bob was drafted into the United States Army in 1970 where he served as a medic in Vietnam. He then worked for Coors Tech for 40 years. Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter. In his younger years, he competed in and won many motocross races. Bob's favorite place to be was in the outdoors.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Arkansas Hospice and Pleasant Hill Senior Services for all the excellent care they provided for Bob.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel burial will follow at Moore Cemetery in Benton.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am before the services.
