A celebration of life will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 10, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.

Leonard and Marion were dear friends and loyal church members. I loved them both so much. I will miss them.

Mr. Thalmueller was my high school principal from 66-69 at Metropolitan High School. He was the most kind compassionate person I had ever met at that time. I had some issues at home, he brought me into his office and gave me a good talking to. He told me I could continue down the same path or the buck stops here. I finished school, married, had 5 children, went to nursing school and recently retired. I was divorced many years ago and have been single raising my children on my own. Every time I thought of giving up, I would hear his words. All my children are grown, happy, well adjusted and through Gods help and Leonard Thalmuellers words, the buck did stop with me. I am the proud grandmother of 5 beautiful grandchildren. He would have been so proud. I've tried for years to find him in Arkansas to no avail. RIP you precious precious man. You have helped so many people down your path. Thank you with all my heart.
