James Rotolo Obituary

James F. Rotolo

1950-2014 NORTH ADAMS Mr. James Francis Rotolo, 64, of 86 Tremont St. and a former longtime resident of 42 Cherry St. died Wednesday May 7, 2014 at his home. He was born in North Adams on April 21, 1950, son of Marie A. Sherry Rotolo and the late Joseph J. Rotolo. He attended local schools and graduated from the McCann Technical High School with the class of 1969. He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard for over 20 years until his discharge in 1991. James was last employed at the former Arnold Print Works in Adams. He and his twin brother, Joseph, catered many local events throughout the years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion at Post #125. He was also a member of the Eagles and the VFW Post #996. He attended St. Anthony of Padua Church. Survivors include his mother, Marie A. Sherry Rotolo of Williamstown; three brothers including his twin, Joseph J. Rotolo of North Adams as well as Thomas S. Rotolo and his companion, Kathy Noel, of Adams and Timothy L. Rotolo and his wife, Debbra, of North Adams; and one sister, Christina "Tina" M. Rotolo of North Adams. He also leaves three nieces and nephews, Jennifer L. Raimer and her husband, Matthew, of Loudon, N.H., Thomas J. Rotolo of Clarksburg, and Tanya M. Rotolo of Malden. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for James Rotolo will be Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #125 in care of the funeral home.
