Arthur F. Jolin

1926-2010 WILLIAMSTOWN Arthur Francis Jolin, 84, of 35 McCauley Lane, Williamstown, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, at his home.

Born in Williamstown on May 23, 1926, a son of the late Alfred Jolin and Marie Louise Brousseau Jolin, he attended schools in Williamstown.

He was a decorated veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving as a Private First Class for the Marine Corp.

In his early years, he was employed as an auto mechanic at various local garages. He was last employed for over 32 years at Photech.

He was a communicant of Sts. Patrick and Raphael Parish in Williamstown. He was an avid car enthusiast.

He leaves his wife, Theresa Lanoue Jolin, whom he married on July 1, 1950, in Bennington, Vt.; one daughter, Gail Robare and her husband, Peter, of North Adams; two sons, Richard Jolin and his wife, Judy, of North Adams, and Gary Jolin and his wife, Karen, of Williamstown; and five grandchildren, Michael Jolin, Kyle Jolin, Steven Robare, Timothy Jolin and Kris Jolin.

He was predeceased by six brothers, Alfred Jolin, William Jolin, Rolland "Babe" Jolin, Almund "Bob" Jolin, Samuel Jolin and Albert Jolin.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Arthur Jolin will take place Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Williamstown, Mass. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours are Wednesday evening from 4-7 p.m. at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS.
