I found the notice of Audrey's passing Just moments ago...I google'd her name because I wanted to find her, send a not and thank her...she was my art teacher...I am forever grateful to her for her many creative deposits..she forever altered the way I see...and the way I render that vision...I'm so glad to have had a season under her tutelage...I excitedly looked forward to our weekly Wednesday visits in Lenox...remembering too, Bob's voice lessons like ribbons floating in the background air. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad for her life.

Dear Bob, Alma and family,
I will miss her too. I was blessed to have known Audrey and to have her share a bit of her art, her love of life and nature, and her love of her family. She was an inspiration. I pray you find comfort during this time.
Love, Arti Ross Kelso

A voice from Bob's distant past. I stumbled onto this sad announcement quite by accident, but wanted to extend my sympathy. As a 17 year old, I was a student of Bob's at Windsor Mountain and was profoundly shaped by his exuberant, humor-filled passion for life, art and music. I remember being invited to Bob and Audrey's Berkshire cabin for a sleep-over during the summer of 1974 and listening to Mozart. I remember the bemusement that invested Audrey's love for Bob's zany and playful personality. The memory stayed with me, and became something I searched for in my own life. I've thought of you often, Bob, and am thinking of you, Alma and Kari now.

To the Blafield family,
Audrey was my art teacher for six years. She taught me the line, texture,
tonal quality and color of reality. Her spirit saw the essence of life and she shared it as a wonderful teacher.

Mr. Blafield, Alma and Kari,
You and your family are in my thoughts. I will always remember fondly how kind and welcoming your wife, and Mom, was to me as I took many years of piano lessons in your home. Her compassionate way about her, with people and of course, animals, was very evident. Those that met her were blessed with her presence. Peace be with you all during this time of grief.
Namaste',

Bob and family,
My deepest condolences to you at the loss of your wife, mother and friend. I remember seeing her art at the house when my daughter was taking voice lessons. She certainly had a talent for seeing the beauty in nature and bringing it out on her canvas.Let your happy memories will bring you through this difficult time and know that I am thinking about you and that you all are in my prayers.
