Paul Rathbun Obituary
He was born in Pittsfield on April 29, 1953 to Mary Jones Rathbun and the late Arthur Rathbun. He was a 1971 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
He married the former Ann M. Cook on November 13, 1987.
Mr. Rathbun worked as a steam fireman for 30 years at MCLA, retiring in 2012.
His greatest accomplishments were restoring three homes for himself and his family. He cherished his 1953 Chevy Truck, riding his Kubota tractor and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Rathbun of Williamstown; three sons, Paul Rathbun, Jr., of Pittsfield, Richard Rathbun of Pittsfield, and Michael Rathbun and wife Jennifer of Brownsburg, IN; his mother, Mary Rathbun of Pittsfield; a brother, Robert Rathbun of Pittsfield; three sisters, Gloria Berne of Pittsfield, Faith Daly of Texas, and Marlene Carr of Pittsfield. He also leaves his seven grandchildren, Rachel, Kaelin, Reese, McKinley, Carter, Max, and Molly Rathbun.
He was predeceased by his brother, Arthur Rathbun and sisters, Joanne LeClair, Cherryl Reed, Joyce Bigelow and Dawn Dauer.
Funeral Notice: Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity of the donor's choice. Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.

To Marlene and the Entire Rathbun Family;

I remember Paul well. He had a good heart and was always nice to me.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends. So sad to hear about this so soon after losing Dawn.
