My deepest condolences to Paul's family. He was a co-worker, teacher and friend of mine for well over 40 years. An exceptional teacher who could some how get his message across no matter how difficult it was for the student. He mentored me in the early 70's and was responsible for me going to work for Boston Edison. My whole life and career could have been much different had we not met.
I have the up most respect for him and he never lost sight of promoting and doing was correct for steam engineers in the State of Massachusetts. We have all lost a friend. RIP Paul you will be remembered and missed.

I wish to express my sympathy to the Logan Family on the passing of one of the cornerstones of our industry. Paul launched many a career in stationary engineering and there are countless licensed men and women who owe their livelihood to his teaching and mentorship. It was an honor to teach for Paul at the Steam Engineering Institute. His enthusiasm for teaching was infectious. He will be missed by many.

I was a student of Mr. Logan's 3 years ago, and I'm a current student of his seeking my next license in Steam Engineering. I was sad and shocked to hear the news of Mr Logan's passing. He was a very intelligent man who helped me prepare for my license exam tremendously. RIP sir.
