Dear Jim,Alan and Amy
We are truly sorry for your loss and so sad we cannot be there to say goodbye. Bea was an amazing person and a role model for how to be relevant and interesting and open to new ideas even into one's nineties. She really was an inspiration to all who we're fortunate enough to know her.
She was the last of the West End group of Ruthie,Helen and Molly, it really is the end of an era. With all our love Roz and Lenny

Please accept my condolences on behalf of the Baker family. Beattie was one of my mother's dearest friends and your family has always been in our thoughts and our memories. Some of my fondest recollections are of Waltham and the old neighborhood on Sheffield Rd. To Jim, Alan and Amy always know that you and your mother and father hold a special place in our hearts.
