Albert Romano

Albert was born on July 12, 1921 and passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Albert was a resident of Revere, Massachusetts at the time of passing. Al proudly served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII, was a prisoner of war survivor, in Romania, part of the Ploesti Air Raid, and was a part of the Air Offensive Europe, Naples-Foggia, Normandy, Air Combat, Sicily, and Northern France battles and campaigns. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart, Unit Citation, Distinguished Flying Cross, European African Middle Eastern service Medal.
