DORIEH "HOURI" PARANGI

PARANGI, Dorieh "Houri" Passed away peacefully, on August 20, 2025, in Newton, MA, at the age of 93. She was the devoted wife of the late Nasser Parangi, with whom she shared 63 years of a loving marriage; and a beloved mother, grandmother, and lifelong teacher. Dorieh had a gift for instilling confidence in her children and believed education was the greatest gift one could give. She was endlessly proud that her son became a successful architect, and her daughters a surgeon and a lawyer, each reaching the highest levels in their professions. With an adventurous spirit and boundless resilience, she embraced every new chapter of life with grace. She is survived by her son, Max and his wife, Nika; her daughter, Sareh and her husband, Aria; and her daughter, Mahsa and her husband, Joe. She adored her six grandchildren, Aria, Ryan, Shayan, Nima, Ava, and Alex, who brought her endless joy. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington Street, WEST NEWTON, MA 02465, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
