Bernard Peter FEENEY

FEENEY, Bernard Peter Sr. Age 87, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at his home. Bernard is survived by two sons, Bernard Feeney, Jr. and Brian Feeney. He was survived by his son, William Michael Feeney, who subsequently passed away at his home on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Bernard was born in Boston, MA, on July 26, 1938, to parents, Bernard P. Feeney, Sr. and Estelle Teresa (Marsden). He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Ina May Feeney, on April 20, 2021.

Bernard will always be in the hearts of his sons, Bernard P. Feeney, Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Newington, CT, as well as Brian Feeney and his wife, Kellie, of Winchendon, MA.

Bernard attended Matignon High School. He served in the United States Navy before beginning a career as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. When he wasn't working, Bernard was an avid sports fan and particularly enjoyed watching his sons' sports. He was heavily involved in many civic organizations including most notably the Cape Coral Elks Club # 2596.

He will forever be remembered by his loving five grandchildren, Katie, Meghan, Sean, Peter and Erin; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Paul Dzioba and Mary Elaine Dzioba; as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:45AM, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, in Cape Coral, FL. A private interment will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery.
