FOWKE, Janet L. (Streeter) HARVARD - Janet L. (Streeter) Fowke, 92, a former resident of Harvard and Pembroke, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Fitchburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Fitchburg. She had resided many years in Pembroke and summered in Harvard. Her husband, Donald J. Fowke, died in 2003. Mrs. Fowke was born in Ware, November 3, 1928, a daughter of Harley and Helen (Clark) Streeter. Mrs. Fowke was a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. For over thirty years she worked as an artist for the Harvard Post newspaper. She leaves two sons and daughters-in-law, Jay H. and Michelle Fowke of Memphis, TN, Guy H. and Sandy Fowke of Fitchburg; and four grandchildren, Rachel Fowke, Rebecca Fowke, Kerryann Coppinger and Jason Barrett. She also leaves two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Clark Streeter. The Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, AYER is assisting the family with arrangements.
