MURPHY, Barbara B. (Barry) Of Winchester, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on September 18, 2025, she was 96 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Richard H. Murphy. Loving mother of Kathleen M. Marc and her husband, Yale, Richard H. Murphy, Jr. and his wife, Karen, Stephen B. Murphy and his wife, Michelle and the late Daniel J. Murphy. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Murphy and his wife, Emilie, Caitlin Murphy, Andrew Murphy and his wife, Shannon Sun-Higginson, William Murphy and his wife, Samantha Harris, Ryan Marc and his wife, Jerrielyn and Lauren Marc. Adoring great-grandmother of Madison, Ryan, Kira and Bailey Murphy. Dear sister of Lois Barry and the late Alma Coleman, Joan Barry Doherty and Claire Donahue. She will be missed by her late son Daniel's widow, Karyn Smith; and her children, Geoffrey Hicks and Emmalyn Hicks. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St. (Rte. 38), WINCHESTER, on Monday, September 29, from 9:30-10:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Eulalia's Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester, at 11am.
