JAMES SMITH Obituary

SMITH, James Macaulay Age 89, of Lexington, formerly of Ipswich, died peacefully at Brookhaven, March 17, 2021. Husband of Ellen K. Andersson. Survived by a sister, Emily Smith Cain of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and numerous nieces and nephews in the US, Canada, and Denmark. Predeceased by his father Archibald William Smith, mother Isadore Leighton Luce Smith, and brother Thomas William Macaulay Smith. Graduate of Harvard College (?53) and Harvard Law School ('59) and a Lt. Colonel in the US Marine Corps Reserves. CPA for over 50 years. Participated in the 1956 Melbourne Summer Olympics in the Men's Free Rifle, Three positions, 300 metre event. Arrangements under Douglass Funeral Home in LEXINGTON. Funeral Services private.
