A Ceremony of Remembrance will be held Sunday, June 23 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. LEXINGTON, at 5:30 PM. Calling Hours, immediately prior to the service, from 4-5:30 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Donations in Robert's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org Interment private. Lexington (781) 862-1800

Belated condolences to the family. Robert Stevenson was my favorite STEM professor at Brandeis. And a very nice and funny man, from our conversations in his office circa 1979-80.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news of passing away of Robert Stevenson. I came across his research work in 1974 when I was working for my Ph.D. degree in India. Later, I joined his research group as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Brandeis University where I was associated with him for 2 years during 1979-81. I remember him as a soft spoken and kind person. I immensely enjoyed working with him and his group. I will always remember his as a teacher and cherish the fond memories of my association with him. I pray God to give strength to his family members to bear the loss.
