I am so sorry for your loss. Myrna was a wonderful friend to my mom and all of us. She remains very vivid in my mind. And I always admired her beautiful, well written and and well researched books. Love and sympathy to you all.

Myrna was so fun to talk to.She was smart, warm, and intellectually adventuresome. I always looked forward to seeing Myrna, which I had the great pleasure of doing for many years. Her life was a blessing to all of us who could share in her wealth of observations.

So smart, so intellectually curious, so ingenious, so persistent, so great at solving problems, so talented in so many ways - scholarship, writing, art, jewelry making - and so much fun! She was always thinking of ways to make life easier for her family and friends. She threw herself into the care of several friends who were ill, and always went the extra mile for them. She helped her friends and relatives figure out and solve their problems. If she didn't understand the nature of those problems, she researched it until she nailed it.

Myrna was a caring and joyful friend, and a renowned author with expertise in New England antiques. We will not see her like again.

I am thinking of Myrna and how she always treated me like a son.
